As a Relayware sales development rep I get the opportunity to talk to dozens of professionals working hard to not just manage their channel partners but who need to see a real return on channel investment. Recently, in a number of conversations that have started out rather focused – say on channel training or channel onboarding or deal registration – when we get further into Relayware’s full capabilities, they breathe a sigh of relief. They tell me that they are happy to find a “one-stop shop” for all that goes into managing the entire partner relationship lifecycle.

Why is it increasingly important to have one-go-to hub for partner relationship management? Channel professionals tell me their partners are inundated with complex systems and multiple resources to get important vendor and product information. One comprehensive PRM system makes it easier for partners to access channel resources, and thus gives them more time to generate revenue rather than battle with technology.

Another sentiment I’ve heard from channel managers is the need for synchronization with CRM, LMS, and other business systems.
