New Customers, New Employees and New Technology Fueling Relayware’s Upward Trajectory


Jersey City, NJ – October 15, 2014 – Relayware, a SaaS-based provider of Partnering Automation software, today announced that it has undergone unprecedented business growth and expansion over the past year, establishing the company as the leader in the fast-growing Partner Relationship Management (PRM) marketplace.

In September 2013, Relayware announced that it raised $5.5 million from Albion Ventures to fuel the company’s sales and marketing engine, hire key executives and expand its operations in the U.S. with a new office and new staff. One year later, the company is reporting that it has met or exceeded many of its business goals, such as strong customer growth, an upgraded platform and industry recognition for its innovative Partnering Automation solutions.

Significant 2014 Growth Milestones:

  • 41% New Customers: So far this year, Relayware grew its customer base by 41% in the first three quarters. New customers added include companies in web security, web conferencing, telecommunications, networking, data storage and backup, and other high-tech industries.
  • 26% New Employees: Relayware grew its employee base by 26% -- including key executive hires, such as Jim Somers as chief marketing officer and John Benecke as chief financial officer.
  • Cited by Forrester Research, Inc.: The independent research firm named Relayware a “Strong Performer” in The Forrester Wave™: Partner Relationship Management (PRM) Platforms. Relayware received the top scores in the partner portal and mobile and tablet support categories, and received among the highest scores in the business planning category.
  • Opened NY/NJ Metro-Area Office: In May 2014, Relayware opened a new North American headquarters in Jersey City, NJ, enabling the company to better serve its growing U.S. customer base.
  • Awarded Government Grant: The company was the recipient of a UK government grant from the Technology Strategy Board in August 2014, allowing it to expand its R&D and further enhance its Partner Cloud platform and business rules engine.
  • Added New Board Member: In September 2014, Relayware appointed Paul Brennan to its board of directors. With over 30 years of global business development experience in the IT sector, Brennan brings with him deep expertise with SaaS and cloud technologies.
